Ever thankful for Ricola cough drops

hello! happy new year!! 2022 is gonna be awesome!!
This week was quite a week...I've been sick with a cold since Tuesday :(
Don't worry tho, it's not covid. Although, I did have to take my first ever covid test so that was interesting. I tested negative obviously.

Most days we worked and I just took some naps at lunch but then on Saturday my body was not feeling it so we took that day to rest and let my body reenergize! It literally sucks to be sick on a mission, especially when your comp is feeling just fine. I told myself on Saturday, "this is your day to rest but then tomorrow you're back to work!" and honestly that kinda helped! I took a good nap after church and then worked for the rest of the day. (btw I was cautious of people and didn't want to make them nervous of me hacking up my lungs and thinking I had covid) (also...if one could overdose on ricola, I'd have done it by now lol! I've been eating those things like candy)

We had a super cool contact on Sunday with Kaneisha! We stopped by her house and had a super quick lesson with her and we gave her a Book of Mormon! She was just talking about building foundations of faith and we pulled up Helaman 5:12 about building our foundations on Christ. We testified that the Book of Mormon would help her build her faith and she goes "I need to get me one of those then!" so we said "here have this one!" She was so excited!

That experience was an excellent example of the 2022 FJM vision! The vision for this year is all centered on 365. We want to get 365 baptisms this year, have 365 new temple recommends given, and be focused on the Book of Mormon 365 days (every day) to reach those goals! The plan is to hand out a Book of Mormon each day too! So far so good! I'm so excited for this year! It will be a blast!

Also I'm so excited to start reading the Old Testament as part of Come Follow Me. Wooo! From this week, reading in Moses and Abraham was pretty cool! I love how it talked about our divine potential. We have so much to accomplish and God will help us in every step! He knows who we can become and He has a great work for us to do!

I hope yall have a wonderful and healthy week! Go make someone happy today!

Love yall!

Sister Huff :)
