Helloooooo! It has been A WEEK let me tell ya! Life threw some unexpected things at us but that happens sometimes to learn and grow from our experiences.
Ok so to start off, we had to postpone Chucks baptizm but that is ok! Needless to say we are trusting a lot in God so keep Chuck in yalls prayers! We've had some really powerful lessons with him this week because of the challenge we have at hand. The spirit was super strong in both lessons as we talked about faith and trusting in God. Sometimes, things may seem impossible on paper but we learn from the scriptures that anything is possible with God! There was one day that Sister Packer felt that we should send him 3 different things throughout the day. That's a lot of texts but we went for it and it was amazing to see the Spirit inspire us on each thing to send to him. One thing was just a list of scriputres and they kept coming and coming, all were about miracles and faith and trust and then recieving answers. From all of this, I've learned that God is so aware of His children but Satan is also aware of us too. There must be opposition in all things, be spiritually strong to withstand what Satan throws at you! Never let your guard down! I can happily say that Sister Packer, Chuck, and I were all spiritually strong but it's still a battle. And, I learned that battles with the adversary are best won on your knees! At the end of our lesson with Chuck, we felt that we should all say a prayer, one after another, kneeling. That was a powerful experience and the Spirit uplifted us all!
This week we also spent a lot of time outside in the blazing heat! We did service for our friend Olivia where we continued to lay bricks for her patio. I did not know it was humanly possible to sweat so much! Also we caught like 3 frogs so that was fun! They were all hiding in the cool dirt and we accidently dug them up haha! Right after working for a while, Olivia fed us some yummy meals to get our energy back up! Also we drank sooooooo much water! So don't worry, we are staying hydrated!
Last but not least, there was a pretty rainbow one day! So much wonder comes with seeing a rainbow so it was pretty sweet!
That's about it for me this week. Everything else was pretty normal.
I hope yall have a great week, drink plenty of water, and be spiritually & temporally prepared for anything!
Love yall!
Sister Huff :)
