Two people are going to kill me!

Hello everyone! Don't worry, I'm not actually dying (just dying from the mission) We had a crazy week indeed but what week isn't! I love it and am soaking in every last moment! This past week I hit 17 months which is insane haha!

So the biggest thing that happened this week was that Sister Packer and I are now in a trio! Sister Lewis was emergency transfered into our area and it's been a party! We got to pick her up on Thursday after a huge service project that we did at the USO. For the service gave out food to those in the military. It was pretty sweet and we got to meet some awsome people and work with some great missionaries! It was a party!
Ok so right after this we headed down to ST AUGUSTINE!!!! It's been a year since I served there which is insane so it was nice to be back! We took the scenic route down there along A1A which is right next to the ocean. It was beautiful! Then entering into St. Aug brought back so many memories. I missed it! So we picked up Sister Lewis, got the classic cold cow ice cream (obviously) and headed home. That day was really crazy but we are happy to have Sister Lewis with us! She's so sweet and we are just working hard!

We've had some awesome contacts with Chuck this week and he is doing so well! Better than ever before! On Sunday he told me something really impactful that happened in his life and I just couldn't help but get teary eyed. He is one of the most faithful people I know!

We had an amazing church tour with Arezoo this week! She kept commenting on how peaceful she felt as we were walking through! The spirit was definitely there!

Also, we had an amazing lesson with Gaia! HOLY MOLY! We went to a members house to get a better environement and that was a great idea! Dinner was delicious for one and the lesson was so spirit filled! We talked about the purpose of this life on earth. We are to prepare to meet God. We brought up the idea of "memento mori" which basically means we are all going to die and we don't know when...kinda sad at first but that idea helps you live life to its fullest. We don't want to get to the judgement bar of God and see a stranger. We should be able to look at God and know Him as a best friend since we spent our time on earth getting to know Him and preparing to meet Him.
This message impacted all of us I think and I hope it impacts you as well. There's a whole chapter in the Book of Mormon that asks a bunch of questions regarding this topic of being prepared to meet God. It's Alma chapter 5. Yall should read it! Here's one of my favorite scriptures from it.
                   Alma 5:16 & 19
" I say unto you, can you imagine to yourselves that ye hear the voice of the Lord, saying unto you, in that day: Come unto me ye blessed, for behold, your works have been the works of righteousness upon the face of the earth?
I say unto you, can ye look up to God at that day with a pure heart and clean hands? I say unto you, can you look up, having the image of God engraven upon your countenances?"

Other fun facts about this week:
1) I had really spicy food this week and I was dying! One of them was spicy seaweed...it was nasty
2) I peed my pants at district council so thats fun...
3) there was a tornado warning yesterday when we were at arezoos house eating with them and they didn't do anything...even tho ur supposed to go hide...we didn't know so we were just chilling haha! We're ok!

I hope yall have an awesome week! My last one...I'm gonna soak it all in! And it'll be crazy! I'll try to write an email next Monday then I'll be home. Love yall! Keep it real!

Love, Sister Huff :)
