Super greenie no more!

Hello once again everyone!
This week has been a good one! Very slow but very good!

To start off, we found some super cool sand dunes in the middle of Georgia! It's the randomest thing. We obviously stopped at it to play and take pictures there for a second before getting back to work. We've got some very cool pictures from that that I will share!

We did a ton of service again this week (surprising I know haha!) The Ammon approach works though (read about Ammon's service in Alma 17-19 in the Book of Mormon ;)) Anyways, so we first helped a busy member with her beautiful garden. We mostly helped weed and clear up the area for her to plant some more corn. I aspire to have a garden like hers oneday! It was really fun and in two weeks she said that we could help harvest her potatoes! So stay tuned for your Idaho girl picking potatoes in Georgia! After all the hard work, we got to eat some fresh strawberries and we got to see their various animals. They have chickens, guinea hens, tortoises, baby chickens, cats, dogs, and.......baby turkeys!!! We got to hold the turkeys and let me tell ya, they are the chillest animals ever (also very cute!)
After that service in the morning, we went to the Cartmells house again to move some things, clear up their yard, and share a lesson with Beth who is a recent convert. We are getting her ready to go through the temple! We also may have gone there to play with their dogs...how could you not haha! While working there, I caught a frog! I also held one of their chickens.
Friday's service was all renovation at Andrews house so nothing too different there. And Saturday we helped the Rosados organize some stuff.

Friday morning we had a super good lesson with Frank! Last week we gave him a Restoration pamphlet and when we met with him this week he had read it and highlighted it! A good part of the conversation was focused on questions he had about the Great Apostasy and Priesthood. He then expressed his thanks for us always meeting with him to share with him the word of God. He even called us angels 😊 and told us to always call to make sure he's not getting into trouble. Because he loves the word of God so much (especially the Bible) Sister Davis and I felt prompted to give him a book of Mormon and invite him to start reading it from the beginning. He was so excited to do so! The spirit was so strong in that lesson! Keep him in your thoughts and prayers!

On Sunday we had a really good lunch with the most southern lady I've met, Shirley. She is the cutest woman ever and loves the missionaries so much! Her and her husband are Baptist but that is never a problem! We share similar beliefs so we can always have good conversations about Christ and ways to come closer to Him. We had a good classic southern dish of fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, and rolls. We were definitely well fed!

Also for P day today we did some super fun stuff! We were with our whole district (so us sisters, the elders and the ZLs). We first went to this place called Radium Springs. It is so beautiful there! We saw so many fish in the super clear water! I'll add so many pics! After that we went to the mall and Davis and I got some nice smelling stuff from bath and body works. Then we went to play laser tag! That was the best time ever! I also got ice cream!

Last but not least, on Saturday we had our transfer calls. Thankfully, Sister Davis and I are staying together in good ole' Albany! Sadly though, Elder LeCompte is leaving us and Elder Carter is going to be getting a new second half trainer. This Friday is transfers but we don't have to go anywhere. Sister Davis is sooooo excited about that because almost every transfer for her, she's had to go somewhere else or get a new companion. She said it's nice to rest this time lol! It's so weird that this transfer is over and that I started MTC two months ago! After this transfer I won't be a super greenie! That's crazy to me! It's been a fun ride and I'm excited for what is to come!

Have a wonderful week everybody! Love you lots!

Sister Huff :)
