For a good few days I was in a trio with sister winder and sister Waite (my next companion) in Nocatee which was a fun time! Then on Thursday was transfer day!
I had to go to Jacksonville for a trainer meeting and there I saw the one and only sister davis! My wonderful sweet mission mother! Then a couple of minutes later I saw good ole Elder Carter, my "mission brother" who was in my first district and we came out to the mission together. Ah the reunion of us three was so awesome! The joy was great! It's crazy all the people I've met I only 5 months! I can't imagine my life without them!
Also, the church caught on fire during the meetings, so we all had to go outside in the Florida heat while the fire truck came. Adventures yay! All is well with the church!
So now I am in St Augustine, the oldest established city in the US! It is very historical here and very Spanish. I love it! And I'm with sister Waite! The amount of times that we've been told that we look like sisters is astronomical! And it's kinda true...she's kinda like my long lost sister haha!
Sister Waite and I have been doing some awesome contacting. One day we went to a little market to see if we could meet anyone and we totally did! Everyone was packing up their stuff so we went out to see if we could help anyone pack up. One lady was struggling to put up her tent thing, so we went up and helped her take it down and got her information.
After that we walked some more and ended up helping another lady pack up her tie dye shirts. We talked a lot about religion because she has gone to almost every church or has researched it. It was really cool! We heard her life story and how she got into tie dye then invited her to church. She is super cool! All this couldn't have been done with out my wonderful companion and her boldness...and the guidance of the spirit of course!
We are also teaching some sweet people! I'm excited to see where they go while I'm here! More to come about them later because I don't have much time left!
I hope yall have a wonderful week! Remember to always pray during every aspect of life!
Love yall!
Sister Huff
