To begin, what the heck!? It's already December? Currently in Florida, it is just barely hitting fall haha! Now all the trees are changing colors and I definitely feel off on that. It's also been super foggy in the mornings and one day I looked out to just see white...I definitely had a short thought that it was snowing and I got super excited but then I realized...I'm in Florida. The last time it snowed here was in the 80's and it wasn't much haha!
Now with December here we get to do Light the World!!! I literally love the Christmas season! We got a tree the other day and put up lights around our window. Also, every members house we go to we get to share a Light the World video and just hearing the intro music makes me happy. I'm so excited for this Christmas!
This week I did a tradeoff with Sister Morely and that was a blast! I definitely learned a lot about how to be an STL and do tradeoffs. She was my guinea pig but we still had fun! I went to her area and we met some awesome people and had some good lessons. One lady has been struggling a lot so it was good to sit down and help her feel of Christ's peace.
Funny thing about the other Sisters apartment is that they have a picture of Jesus in their front window (as every missionary apartment does lol) and their next door neighbor also has a picture in their front window...not of Jesus though. It is of Obi wan Kenobi. That gave me a good laugh for sure!
We had our second MLC for figuring out the 2022 mission vision! This meeting was amazing and super revelatory! After making a decision we all knelt and prayed about the decision to know if it was right or if we needed to change it. Every time, after much much thought and conversation, we were able to come to a sure conclusion with the Lords help! Revelation does occur! I'm so excited for the next year and to see how this new vision plays out! Our main scriputre of focus is Moses 7:62 which says that righteousness (us missionaries) and truth (the Book of Mormon) will flood the earth!
Also, on the topic of the Book of Mormon...how would yall say the plural form of Book of Mormon is? In the meeting we had many forms like "Book of Mormons" "Books of Mormon" "copies of the Book of Mormon" "Books of Mormons" and finally President Wood just said "we seem to be struggling with knowing where to put the 's' so lets just say Book ofs Mormon". That then inspired "copies of the Books ofs Mormons" and honestly I think that is the most correct! Let me know what you think!
