Meetings and more meetings!!

Hello once again everyone! I wish I could say that this week was less crazy than last week but it was all the bit more crazy! We are running low on sleep but yet we are still going haha! It's all by the grace of God that we are alive still! It's actually not that bad, I'm just being dramatic haha!

Anyways, as per my subject line, this week was FULL of meetings. We had STL calls, SMS calls for the SMS crew and the zones we are over, mission leadership council, ward council, stake missionary council, district councils, and all the things. We've been really all over the place if ya can't tell haha! It's good though because that means we're learning a lot and have a lot to share with others!

We had a really good day on Saturday! We received a referral from a Bible ad of someone requesting a free bible. We tried contacting her a few times over the phone but to no avail. We decided to just stop by then, and she answered! She was so happy to get the bible and said that she's been wanting to get closer to God recently and figured that this would be the best way! She also wants to do studies with us! She told us that when she first saw us at the door she wasn't going to answer but then the thought came to her mind that we were sent from God for her! That's literally the coolest thing ever and I'm so happy that she listened to that first thought! Hopefully we will be meeting with her again soon!
We also met a super cool guy while walking to an appointment named Ben. He was sitting in his garage making little action figures! It was so cool! So, we talked to him for a second so that was good!

On Sunday was the day with the most meetings but this is also the day that I was "initiated" into the area by the Ellis family. I came into the room and they told me to sit down and then all the sudden people just came piling snakes onto me haha! This family has 4 pythons! I'm chill with snakes so it was whatever and pretty cool! They are just so cute and dependant on us being warm haha! Everyone was expecting me to freak out but thankfully I am not afraid of snakes...if it was spiders on the other hand...I wouldn't ever be back to that house!
Sunday night we also had a Book of Mormon devotional to finish off our 65 day reading challenge. That was such a cool meeting to be a part of! I learned so much more about the Book of Mormon! My main take away from that meeting is the plain and simple fact that there is no way that Joseph Smith, an unschooled farmboy, could have made up and written the Book of Mormon. It is simply impossible for anyone to come up with something as extraordinary as the Book of Mormon all by themselves. I know that it is inspired of God and you will draw even more closer to God and Jesus Christ as you read from it daily!

I hope yall have a wonderful week! I love yall so much!
