Hello once again!
This week we were insanely busy but looking back, I don't feel like much happened? Not sure how that works but oh well! This email won't be too long :)
We had 2 tradeoffs this week to do and that was fun! For the first one, I stayed in Price Creek and had Sister Morley as my companion for the day. She is so fun and we are so much alike it's crazy! The second tradeoff was also a blast and I was in Starke with Sister Hoerler! She is also an amazing missionary...we are just surrounded by some great people!
This week we also caught a gecko! His name is Gregory and he is albino! And the other night we were just chilling after 9 and sister smith looked at her knee and there was an itty bitty little caterpillar on it! We gave him a nice home in a jar and named him Robert! Hopefully he will grow super big and will become a butterfly!
Since this is such a short boring email, here is a spiritual thought to keep you going :)
Today I was reading in Alma 30 about Korihor, the Anti-Christ and that whole interaction he had with Alma. Basically, Korihor was going around, leading others astray and making them believe that there wasn't a God and that they were stupid for being in the church. He went from city to city doing this. Eventually he meets with Alma and begins to contend with him on different doctrines. I just love what Alma responds with. He says,
"Thou hast had signs enough; will ye tempt your God? Will ye say, Show unto me a sign, when ye have the testimony of all these thy brethren, and also all the holy prophets? The scriptures are laid before thee, yea, and all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and call things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator."
I just love this and it goes well with what I posted earlier this week. The song How Great Thou Art. I just love nature as most of yall know and it is just so amazing to look around and see that, truly, everything denotes that there is a God and that He loves us so much! Take the time to appreciate it all! Take it in! Catch a gecko and name him a silly name!
Love yall so much! Have a wonderful week!
Sister Huff :)
