We had a big storm like this a couple days ago too and we sat outside on our porch to watch. It's amazing the power of nature! God's creations never cease to amaze me!
So my week was busy but not a lot came from it which is ok. We are doing a lot of contacting and lots of people are gone on vacation so not many doors are being opened. We have been in contact with some awesome members though which has been nice! It's been weird adjusting from a huge teaching pool in Albany to almost no teaching pool at all haha!
Sister winder and I are working hard though so it'll hopefully work out!
We had a lesson with Angelina and passed her off to the YSA sisters so she can start going there! She's doing so good though! She's been offered a new job so that's a big miracle and step to baptism!
One day while contacting members, there was one stop we made and they had one vicious little dog...it actually went after sister winder and bit her leg before being pulled back into the house. That was stressful for sure! She ok though don't worry!
We've been practicing a lot of piano this week because we are performing a piano duet for zone conference this week. Pray for us haha!
We had a fun p day activity earlier and we played soccer! I'm not the best...but I tried to channel all the soccer games I watched my friends play in high-school and that helped haha! It's sure hard to play in such intense humidity though! Sooo sticky!
Thats about it for this week! Not too much happened but the work still continues onward!
One thing that I learned that super stuck out to me this week was that we cannot look for light in darkness. If you have a question concerning beliefs or religion or whatever it may be, you need to find light to the question in light, which is God! Take it up with God and He will lead the way. We have to be sure not to heed to the works of the world. Press forward on the iron rod! Partake of the glorious love of God!
