Awkward hairless cat and a raccoon

What is up everyone!? I hope yall had an awesome week like I did, and if not, this week will be a good one! I just know it haha!

So, as per usual, we had some great visits this week!
We met the most tender old man named John! He is like 93 and just the sweetest! He had met with missionaries before but he said that they just stopped coming over :( sad day but we will visit him! We talked to him for a while about his life. He loved our visit and we did too! We left cookies there for him on the table and a couple of days later he called us and we were like, "Hey John how are you?" and he goes, "well I am just so excited! I found the cookies you left me!" Anyways, he was one of the highlights of our week haha!

We had another awesome lesson with Chuck! We talked about the doctrine of Christ. That man had literally done so much research about it between lessons so he basically taught us haha! He wants to learn more about the priesthood so we are going to talk about that next time! He is learning and growing so much and it's super awesome to see!

Our weekend was FULL of service! We helped plant a bunch of bushes while I was on a tradeoff, we organized a ladies garage and took down her window drapes, and we helped with a huge food drive. The food drive was put on by the post office and we were at the post office unloading all the canned/boxed food into bins and such. It was a party and all the volunteers there were so funny! I literally adore people that volunteer! One of the guys at that food drive had done college in Albany Georgia many years ago so he was very excited when he learned that I had served there. We had some good laughs about that place! Also that man told us that he LOVES fried chicken and had been eating it everyday for the past 37 years! Yall...either this mans heart is about to give out or he is some sort of super hero...I like the latter conclusion because he is still going strong! Southerners be built different haha!

In other news, there was a tornado warning here so that's fun! I don't think it ever touched ground though so we are chilling haha!
I also get to go to the temple again this week!!!! WOOO PARTY TIME!!
ALSO I met a hairless cat! That thing was cute...but ugly...and just really awkward...pictures are included and you can make your own conclusions haha!

To finish off, we got to watch the Young Adult devotional with President Nelson and it was so good! It's truly a miracle to see how God will answer your prayers through the prophet that He has called. I got so many answers to questions that I've had! That entire devotional was so awesome and I highly recommend yall watch it (even if your a young adult or not haha)! I have a testimony that God truly has called a prophet on earth today because He is the same from eternity to eternity and wouldn't let His beloved children remain in darkness without some guidance!

I hope yall have an awesome week! Know that I love yall so so much!

Love,
Sister Huff
