I shall start off by telling y'all about how crazy Tuesday was. First we had a lesson with a referral we got. We drove up to her house and she was outside waiting, then she walked up to our car, opened the door, and got in...I half expected her to say "ok start driving" but no. We just had our lesson in the car and it was fantastic. She is such a sweet soul and I'm so excited to continue to meet with her! After that lesson we got a call from good ole Cher! She needed us to come shave her head again and we had some time so we went over. While shaving her head, she was on a live stream thing with some people which includes a gay guy from New York, a Brit from London, and a "jack mormon". Never did I think I'd have a conversation with all those people in one place haha! It was actually a very wholesome conversation and they were really surprised to hear about how us missionaries live and what we do. (It was also super nice to hear a different accent from the British dude haha!) So yay good times at Cher's! While driving home, we had to stop at a corner and this sketchy dude started fast walking to our car...we were super scared and I literally turned into traffic so fast!
On Wednesday and Thursday I was on a tradeoff with the STLs and I went to Valdosta with sister Hall. It was a super fun time! We bonded over rock climbing and reading...man I miss rock climbing...and mountains in general haha!
Pray for Frank this week! He hasn't been feeling too well and needs the help!
We also had a cool experience to fast as a whole mission for the Florida temples to open up! I've fasting with a purpose and sincere prayer because I know blessings will come from it. Also while fasting, I didn't feel too hungry or tired so that is another blessing!
It's been raining a lot the past few days and so it has also been quite humid...ahhh! Everything is sticky! This will take some getting used to...also.my hair will constantly be up haha!
