Yay!! Zone conference

Hello once again! This week was very very long but oh so good!

We've had some wonderful lessons with the sisters Renita and Roselin this week and we finally were able to get a lesson with Nykimbria! (shes the one that got into our car for the first lesson we had haha!)
Renita and Roselin are doing so good and we were able to introduce them to our church and move from bible studies into deeper discussions about our church! They had many questions and concerns which is very understandable but in the end, all is well! We had a lesson with just Renita the other day because Roselin didn't answer the phone :( But! Renita is the sweetest person and she told us that she wants to get out of the old and bring in the new. She told us that every time she meets with us she gets chills because what we talk about is exactly what she needed that day. Ah! The spirit is so good! God is so aware of His children and I'm happy to be an instrument in His hands.
Our lesson with Nykimbria was super good too! We didn't have it in our car this time haha! We went to her house...and lowkey...her house was hotter than it was outside. I was melting! All is well though because the lesson was everywhere and most definitely led by the Spirit! In the end, she said "don't yall do bible studies on Wednesdays?" I said "no but we do Book of Mormon studies on Tuesdays! Would you like to come?" She was super excited to take part in that and we got to introduce the Book of Mormon to her! She said that she would start reading right when we left!
Unfortunately we haven't been able to get into contact with Frank this week so please keep him in your prayers!

On Tuesday we said goodbye to the Sister missionary that was doing home MTC here, Sister Pruitt. Her original call is to Uruguay but she was reassigned to Tennessee! So to those who are in Tennessee, look out for my girl hermana pruitt!!

On Wednesday we were driving home from a dinner and I drove past a turtle trying to cross the road! So, obviously I pulled over after yelling "TURTLE"! Davis and I got out of the car and did a little photo shoot with him (a must) and then helped him across the street to the little pond. We named him Rod after the famous Hot Rod because he was a dare devil trying to cross the street as a turtle. Silly guy!

On Friday we had a combined Zone Conference with the Kingsland zone (the other zone in Georgia) and it was in Waycross (almost 3 hours from Albany). On Thursday we left to Valdosta where the STLs live so we could stay the night. Then the next morning we drove to Waycross and that same day we drove home. It was a whole roadtrip across Georgia and it was so beautiful! I love Georgia!
Zone conference was sooooo good as always! I was reunited with my wonderful MTC companion Sister Graf!!! What a joyous day it was! We did a study from Alma 32-34 with President Wood. I highly recommend reading and diving into those chapters. I think the most important thing I learned from this zone conference was about forgiveness and the Atonement. We have been so blessed to be immediately forgiven of our sins as we turn to God. That also means that we are to also forgive others and ourselves. Forgiveness is all around so important for our salvation and our lives. Life is too short to hold grudges.

On Saturday we played volleyball with the ward and it was soo fun! It brought me back to highschool sand volleyball at the complex and it was so fun!
Also on Saturday, I got a paint chip stuck in the color of my eye while at a service project. After many attempts to get it out (opening my eyes underwater, spraying a hose in my eye, a dry towel) but what finally got it out was a spray bottle on mist! That was very stressful but an event for the books!

So this email is kinda all over the place...sorry! But I hope yall have a great week! Love yall so very much! Keep up the faith!

Sister Huff :)))
